- DURATION: 5–7 hours
- APPROXIMATE HOURS: between 11:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- DIFFICULTY: moderate with elevation gain
- In case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed
FOLLOW THE FLOCK WITH THE SHEPHERD
The activity involves joining the flock on the pastures, accompanied by an assistant shepherd, as you follow the flock’s trails. The day unfolds in the company of the shepherd as you follow the flock and its grazing route, discovering unique views and scenes from a bygone era. Open discussion with the shepherd about flock management and the challenges and benefits that life on the pasture entails for both people and animals.
Packed lunch provided by the PraLaPeira Mountain Hut.
End time of the activity is at the participants’ discretion: either with the shepherd at dusk after settling the flock for the night, or earlier, guided back by the shepherd’s assistant.
